Code of Conduct

Respect

You must be respectful towards all others, regardless of ideas and past transgressions. Blatantly being hurtful toward another or speaking slanderously of another publicly (even if the other person is not around) would fall under this rule.

Spam

You must refrain from spamming in all channels of the forum, including threads, the chat box, and private messages (unless permitted by the user receiving the message). Spamming is defined as send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet.

Scams

You must refrain from requesting real world money and property from others and extorting others for real world money and property. This rule does not pertain to any in-game currency and property.

Sexual Content

Subjects within the chatbox may not contain sexual content (images, audio, or text) that would be considered inappropriate for a PG-13 level. This rule extends to posts, avatars, and signatures as well.

Swearing

Swearing, cursing, etc. is allowed both in-character and out-of-character (on the chat box); however, it must be within a reasonable limit and not beyond the PG-13 language. Neither usernames nor character names are permitted to contain obscenities.

Advertising

Forum advertisements on this website are restricted to the Advertising forum only. Please refer to the advertising rules thread. I was thinking we make a thread in the advertising forum explaining rules on advertising and have it link here.

Penalties

We might want to list the penalties for breaking rules here.
